The Role:

Kahn Architecture is a mid-sized, interiors-focused architecture firm in search of an Intermediate Project Architect who has 6-10 years’ experience. We are looking for someone who can support and strengthen our team by contributing strong AutoCAD skills towards documentation and in construction administration for our corporate interior projects across the US.

You will be working with the firm’s senior staff on our corporate accounts and in developing documentation of the design for office interiors, core facilities, lobbies, and other real estate driven design requirements. Previous drafting experience, a strong graphic sensibility, and an understanding of all phases of a project is required. Experience with space planning and strong skills in coordination of MEP engineering parameters is required. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be able to work with other team members to meet project goals.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 years’ experience with previous experience working in a corporate interior’s architecture office.

• A professional degree in architecture.

• Experienced AutoCAD user.

• Highly organized with an attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• New York/Tri-State area resident preferred.

• Be a U.S. citizen, or already possess a work visa for working in the U.S.
