Park Avenue Synagogue

New York, NY

KAHN architecture was retained to design the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism’s offices and reflect the organization’s value for a sense of community, shared mission, and purpose. We initiated the project with feasibility studies at several locations and provided test-fits, settling on a location and design that consists of an open floor plan of workstations alongside a linear core of private offices and breakout rooms, along with a separate reception area, breakroom, pantry, and boardroom for an expanse totaling 23,000 square feet. We completed the project within a 12-week construction schedule, including professional certification with the NYC DOB.
