KAHN architecture worked with this full service, diversified, global asset management firm, part of New York Life Investments for their Richmond, VA office relocation project. The space is an historic building that was transformed to a modern, loft like environment with 16 ft high open ceilings, exposed decking and infrastructure. Kahn added a glass box entry vestibule to create a secure separation from the street level entry. Open, collaborative workspaces are sprinkled throughout including a large pantry and seating area. Extra attention was paid to acoustic treatments to balance the open spaces and the quieter needs of the workstations and office spaces.
